Alright, here’s the story: West Indian Rags was born in 2015, thanks to Paul Hughes, who had this wild idea that people might actually want cool custom gear with a Caribbean twist. Bold move, right?

Now, the launch? Eh… let’s just say it wasn’t exactly a rocket ship. More like a rusty lawnmower that kinda sputtered forward for a few feet, then coughed, and tipped over. But hey we had a little success, and just when things were starting to look good… life happens. And by “life,” we mean the kind of stuff that comes outta nowhere, karate-kicks your plans in the face, and then has the nerve to ask if you’re “still following your dreams.”

So yeah, the dream got put on ice. And then because apparently the universe wasn’t done messing with us Covid shows up. Whole planet shuts down. Everyone’s at home making sourdough, panic-buying Lysol, and pretending Zoom meetings are fun. Meanwhile, West Indian Rags is just sitting there like an old laptop that hasn’t been charged since 2016.

But guess what? It’s 2025, and WE’RE BACK. Like a sequel nobody asked for but turns out you actually needed. We’ve got new designs, faster shipping (seriously, it won’t feel like we mailed it by carrier pigeon this time), and a streamlined process so smooth it could get a job in tech support.

At the heart of it all, West Indian Rags is still about celebrating that Caribbean spirit loud colors, bold vibes, and the kind of style that makes people ask, “Where’d you get that?” Only now, you don’t have to wait six weeks and a prayer to get it delivered.

So buckle up, because this time, we’re not going anywhere. Unless life throws another plot twist… in which case, we’ll be back again in 2035 with hologram t-shirts.
